Goldilocks is eating all the baby bear's porridge confidently, believing it is made for her. Goldilocks' eating all the baby bear's porridge Goldilocks does not have any doubts about her actions or intentions. Goldilocks is sitting comfortably in the baby bear's chair without any doubt. Goldilocks sitting in the babe bear's chair The final line "Goldilocks won't ever go visiting no bears again" suggests that Goldilocks has learned her lesson and will not be making the same mistakes twice. Her hair, presumably once blonde like in the original story, now "getting darker", perhaps representing her newfound maturity or understanding of the world. The second half of the song takes a somewhat darker turn, as Goldilocks runs through the woods with "riper sight", seemingly having learned a lesson from her encounter with the bears. The lines "Her only guide's desire" and "She is the centre of the world" convey the idea that Goldilocks is completely self-absorbed, with little understanding or regard for the world outside of herself. However, despite these actions, Goldilocks is portrayed as innocent and pure, with a childlike naivety that is both endearing and potentially dangerous. When she is tired, she falls asleep in the baby bear's bed, despite the fact that it is not hers to use. She then proceeds to eat all of the baby bear's porridge, again seemingly without any thought as to whether she should or not. The lyrics describe Goldilocks sitting in the baby bear's chair, unaware or unconcerned with the fact that it is not her own. The song "Goldilocks" by Beady Belle is a whimsical and playful retelling of the classic childhood story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
